Kita Anak MANADO !

Gue dari MANADO! (that includes Tomohon, Bitung, Tondano, Kotamobagu, dkk)...

Pertama kali kalo orang Jakarta, atau orang luar Jakarta mendengar kata itu, terlintas di pikirannya mengenai MANADO = Menang Tampang Doank!.. alias tong kosong!..

Gue juga sumpek dengan anggapan rendah orang2 luar Manado terhadap suku kita, terutama stereotype terhadap orang dari Indonesia bagian Timur yang masih terbelakang daripada saudara2nya di pulau2 lain!

Hell Noooo!!!..We, as Manadonese have lots to offer than any other tribes in Indonesia!..Did I say that correctly?...Yeah...LOOTS to offer!

We are more good looking than you are!..That's becos our GREAT-GREAT-GREAT grandfather or grandmother has a mix of DUTCH, PORTUGUESE, MONGOL or the PHILIPPINES...so what??..Just ENVY us!

We have lots of languages besides Manadonese!, not just one language!...Tonsea, Tombatu, Tombulu (etc2..)..on TOP one of those, YEAH, MANADONESE, ENGLISH, bla bla bla...ENVY US!

..and Hell yeah, our tongue is unique, that's why we can Speak English and pronounce English Words better than you do!...so envy us!

Yea, we have a very strange last name!, so what?, it's easier to remember us right!..envy us!

We are whiter than any other Indonesians! (I'm not racist , but we are the hottest race in Indonesia!!!... So envy us! (titipan Sheila Kandou)

The chicks in Manado are at the World level!..YEAH!, WORLD LEVEL!...even if she's coming from a not-top-notch city in North Sulawesi!..if you haven't come to Manado, you have to! See the chicks!, they are WOOOOOW...so what?...envy us!

We won Miss Indonesia, Puteri Indonesia, or any other Miss-Miss-an in Indonesia!...GUESS WHAT?...WE BORED OF IT!..YEAAAH, WE BORED AND GETTING SICK OF KEEP ON WINNING! .. WE NEED MISS UNIVERSE, MISS WORLD, or any other Miss-Miss-an..wakakaka..BECOS OUR CHICKS HAVE THE QUALITIES!, as I said, We have WORLD LEVEL CHICKS :D...so what?, It's the FACT!...ENVY US!

YESSSSS!, we eat PIGS, DOGS, BATS, SNAKES, or even RATS (you name it, We eat it!!!, except for the Sh*t!)..Yeaaah, we proud of it...becos those foods make us know HOW TO BE A MAN!

We don't have what you call as "Pengamen, Pengemis, etc2", becos we, Manadonese hampir setara!, tidak ada yg kayaaaa banget, tidak ada jang yang miskin abis (mirip ajaran Karl Max yak ...envy us!

..Tapi jangan salah, beberapa PUTERA MANADO JUGA MASUK "TOP 40 RICHEST PEOPLE IN INDONESIA versi FORBES!"; cek google klo gak percaya!"..Ir Ciputera, Peter Sondakh (SEMEN GRESIK), Paulus Tumewu (Ramayana), bla bla bla...So what?...envy us!

We have BUNAKEN and some other TOP NOTCH diving spots!, Bukit Kasih (reflects the diversity of Manado), and some other tourist attractions that you shouldn't miss!

WE have NO STRANGE RULES/PROVISIONS state.. not to do this, not to do that, bla bla bla...bcos we are Manadonese!, we highly value the diversity of pepple!

WE Appreciate PEOPLE!, RESPECT THEIR OWN RELIGION!, RESPECT THEIR BELIEF, RESPECT THEIR OWN WAY OF LIVING!...even though almost 90% of Manadonese are CHRISTIANS, WE RESPECT OUR FRIENDS FROM ANY OTHER RELIGIONS!...so what?...envy us!

Who said we are not good at sports?..so yeah, we never won Liga Indonesia or Copa Indonesia!, BUT, in any other sports like Bridge or Parachuting we are at the WORLD LEVEL!...some of Indonesian Badminton players are Mandonese; Grecia Polii, Danny Lomban, bla bla bla...Just envy us!

Manado Has LOTS OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS with lots of European, Asian, or Australian cities (Amsterdam, The Hague, Melbourne, Beijing, bla bla bla) and we called them as our sister cities!..WHY?!?..Becos WE ARE MORE OPEN to BULE2!, we know how to treat them, we know how to party w/ them , and WE know How important to make relation w/ bule2..That's why the "WORLD OCEAN SUMMIT 2008" will be held in Manado...yeaaaa....M-A-N-A-D-O!...JUST ENVY US!

We LOVE CHILI, SAMBAL, RICA2 (Yes, THOSE are from Manado)!...We love getting sweat from eating!..so what?, Just envy us!

We HAVE THE BEST FOODS in Indonesia!, Tinutuan, Babi Bakar, Sate Babi, RW, Paniki, Kue cucur, bla bla bla...yea, Those are from Manado!..envy us! :D

Dabu dabu is the best "sambal" in the whole wide world, cakalang fufu is the best "ikan" there is, bunaken is the greatest snorkling spot (I've yet to try diving hehe…), saduan has the best streams, danau tondano has a unique blue color, balapis is the best "kueh" in this universe, gohu and es kacang are a must in a warm day. We are WORLD WIDE PLAYERS!, lots of Manadonese in foreign countries..BELANDA : SUKU KEDUA dari INDO terbanyak setelah AMBON!.. USA : wow, Kagak kehitung orang Manado di US ...yeahhh, and we still remember Manado!, we construct/ will construct Manado, as is it now/ will be in the Future..U'll see :D

Yup, gue bangga bilang klo "gue anak Manado!" (baca: kita anak Manado!) :D.. Paka tuan pakalawiren, paka paka tangan!..
